We all have days when we feel blaah! There’s nothing we can particularly put a finger on but we can’t shake these feelings of apathy and lethargy either. Don’t withdraw from your life and/or loved ones.  Talk to people. And if you’re prone to these low moods, let your friends and family know and when they notice you feeling down they will be there for you.

4. Don’t drink too much alcohol.

Alcohol in large amounts is a depressant, which will only make you feel more depressed. We all know the saying about not finding solutions in the bottom of a glass – be mindful of the amount of alcohol you consume. 

5.  Try to have a healthier diet. 

When depressed, many people don’t feel like eating. This makes them in danger of being underweight. On the flip side, though, some people find comfort in food, which then puts them in danger of being overweight. I was the former and when my first marriage ended I weighed less than 8 stone. I’m 5′ 7″ and I thought I looked great. In reality I was only a bag of bones!
